Since 1998 the Alliance for Children Everywhere has had two temporary homes is Zambia: House of Moses and the Bill and Bette Bryant Nursery. These homes have sheltered over 1,000 babies and children between rescue and family placement. These temporary crisis homes are the difference between life and death for orphaned and abandoned children. The response begins the moment a child arrives, with a warm bed. nourishing food, and soft clothing. They experience safety, consistency and loving attention.
Place coins in zip-close bags and check that no other items such as paper clips, buttons, stray pieces of metal or anything not legal tender is in the bags. Foreign coins must be bagged separately. Look for collection baskets at the Chapel and Sanctuary entrances.
Thanks for supporting Change for Children on Sunday, June 20.
